Wammy's House
In early 2009, the infamous orphanage had plans to be closed down for it has developed a successor to continue the line of L's fine work. As the aforementioned orphan moves on with the caretaker of Wammy’s House, he sent the orders himself as the Orphanage was left in his possession through inheritance from L himself. It was not soon after that someone in a high status of power like N was given came forth and bravely contested L’s last will and testament. Former orphan and top detective K did so since the late detective wrote in his will that half of the possession of the Orphanage belonged to her. If one owner had no interest in taking care of it, they must surrender full ownership to the second owner.
Without hesitation, former orphan and successor Near surrendered ownership to Kyon with a cold comment that there was no use to keep the orphanage open if a successor has been chosen.
Nevertheless, his former companion replies without a losing beat that if God forbids something was to happen to him, and then who would take L’s place? She pulled out the shame card by stating how cruel could he be by kicking out a large amount of intelligent but lonely orphans that were taking residence in Wammy’s.
An intense argument between the composed male and the passionate female escalated for a long amount of time before full ownership was transferred to K.
She had a plan of good ideas that would be a terrible waste if they weren’t carried out.
Through short renovations, Wammy’s House was turned from an orphanage to a credited boarding school for talented children.
Children of all ages with exceptional intelligence, talent and skills are enrolled without a second thought under Kyon’s orders.
Its new motive is to hone the children’s talent and help them reach their full potential.
A great variety of professional teachers and departments has been possible thanks to generous donations from successful former Wammy’s orphans, like Kyon, Linda, Junius and many others.
The role of the new caretaker of the property was presented to K’s younger sister, Maon who accepted with joy and glee.
With 8 years of excellence so far, the success of the children at graduation is inevitable.
It is the start of August once more and a new year of hard work is about to start.
For the students who are 16 years old, older or will turn 16 this year are finally excused from classes and to fully graduate, they will embark on a new adventure set up by the detective Kyon herself.
They have to uncover many secrets lie under the ceiling of the building; some surprising, some confirmatory and others are simply unexpected. They are all guarded and hidden by a large group of past orphans while some were taken to the grave...
